This piece documents the practice of a full-stack software engineer over more than two decades, spanning mobile, web, and server media. The work is notable for its sustained productivity, a single eight-month interruption that produced an unrelated literary work, and an unusually rapid promotion to "Tech Lead" within one gallery season.

2007–10Maintained large-scale online classroom platform, University of Phoenix (400,000 students).
2010–11Departure piece: solo motorcycle journey, 20,000 mi, Arizona to Argentina. Companion text: "Anxiety Across the Americas."
2016–17DAT Solutions — built "Load Board" Android app and Node.js APIs from raw materials.
2017–19Cvent — React Native pilot; promoted to Tech Lead within 6 months; built Storybook component library.
2019–24New Relic — major work: migration of 50+ screens, Java/XML to Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
2024–eBay — current work-in-progress. Item discovery & offer mgmt, sales analytics, coupons, AI-assisted methods.
